A major milestone for EMME and for Europe’s industrial sovereignty.

The European Commission has selected EMME, Electro Mobility Materials Europe, as a Strategic Project under the Critical Raw Materials Act.

This recognition confirms the project’s contribution to strengthening the European Union’s supply of nickel and cobalt, critical raw materials essential to batteries, electric mobility, advanced industrial applications, defence and aerospace.

Located near Bordeaux, EMME has a deeply European ambition and brings together European industrial partners. In particular, EMME is developing a strategic partnership with Siemens to design a digitally enabled plant and deploy agentic AI at industrial scale, supporting future operations. Through its recycling activities, EMME is contributing to the development of a European recycling industry for critical raw materials. The project brings together leading industrial, financial and commercial partners from France, Europe and beyond.

This achievement is above all the result of a collective effort.

Our sincere thanks go to:

👉 our teams, for their commitment, expertise and determination;

👉 our partners and supporters, for their trust and continued support;

👉 the institutions and local stakeholders supporting us from the outset.

From Bordeaux, building Europe’s critical materials future.
