The judge hearing the summary proceedings rejects the challenge to the Blanquefort building permit.
In mid-August 2026, seven entities opposed to the EMME project - the municipalities of Blanquefort and Saint-Louis-de-Montferrand, the Sepanso Gironde (environmental association) and four neighbouring residents - filed an application against one of the two prefectural orders authorising the building permit for the EMME project.
The hearing held on 2 September 2026 gave all parties the opportunity to present their arguments in front of the relief judge.
Following the hearing and consideration of the parties’ written submissions, the relief judge issued an order on 3 September 2026. The order states that:
The application is rejected;
The applicants are jointly and severally ordered to pay EMME €1,500 pursuant to Article L. 761-1 of the French Code of Administrative Justice.
